# The Green Forum
> Share and discuss insights with a global community of professionals working towards a sustainable economic transformation.

## Overview

The Green Forum (https://thegreenforum.org) is the community engagement platform of the Green Growth Knowledge Partnership (GGKP). It is a social knowledge network where practitioners, policymakers, researchers, students, and organizations working on green and circular economy topics can connect, share knowledge, collaborate, and stay informed about opportunities and events in the sustainability space.

The platform serves as the community layer of the GGKP ecosystem, complementing the three specialized knowledge platforms (Green Policy, Green Industry, Green Finance) with a space for peer-to-peer exchange, discussion, and co-creation. It is developed and supported by PanApps and governed under the GGKP partnership.

## Platform Purpose and Value Proposition

The Green Forum bridges the gap between knowledge production and knowledge application. It allows members to:

- Share research, reports, tools, and multimedia knowledge resources with a global audience
- Engage in thematic discussions across green economy topics
- Find and post job opportunities, calls for proposals, and funding opportunities
- Announce and follow community events and webinars
- Create or join focused groups aligned with specific programmes, sectors, or themes
- Connect with a global peer network of professionals across regions and disciplines

The platform is particularly designed to break knowledge silos across GGKP's partner programmes (FARM, ISLANDS, GFP, GIP, GPP, etc.) and provide a shared engagement space for their respective communities.
