The GEF ISLANDS Atlantic project, implemented by the UN Environment Programme through the The Basel, Rotterdam and Stockholm ConventionsRegional Centre for French-speaking countries in Africa (BCRC/SCRC Senegal), is seeking a National Communications Consultant to support activities in Cabo Verde, Guinea-Bissau, and São Tomé and Príncipe.

In this role, you will:
🌍 Support the project's communication strategy
📢 Raise awareness on the sound management of chemicals and waste
🎨 Develop engaging communication materials, including infographics, social media content, and media releases
🤝 Promote behavioural change toward a POPs- and mercury-free Atlantic SIDS region

Who should apply?
✔️ At least 3 years of experience in communications, public relations, or environmental awareness
✔️ Fluency in English and Portuguese
✔️ Passion for environmental protection and sustainable development
