To create a planet free of harm from chemicals and waste, we need safer alternatives, meaningful action, and a sense of shared responsibility.

The Global Framework on Chemicals (GFC) works to achieve this by bringing together stakeholders from around the world and across government, industry, private sector, civil society, and academia to address the challenge of chemical pollution.

Comprising five strategic objectives and 28 targets, the Framework is designed to guide action to address the safe and sustainable management of chemicals and waste.
