This compendium showcases new and innovative low carbon technologies that have potential to be deployed in Asia and the Pacific. It features 10 technologies for capturing, utilizing, or storing carbon dioxide. The key aspects of these technologies are discussed together with their advantages and status of development and commercialization. The compendium aims to contribute to low carbon development in the region by promoting further research, innovation, and investment in emerging technologies. It presents four interesting carbon dioxide capture technologies, five carbon dioxide utilization technologies, one utilization storage technology, and one enabler concept. The technologies presented are in various stages, ranging from research and development to commercial deployment.
