On 22 January 2026, the Green Growth Knowledge Partnership (GGKP), under the GEF-funded and UNEP-led Global NIP Update Project (GEF ID 10785), held a webinar on Activity Options for Action Plans for Brominated, Chlorinated and Other New POPs and featured a “Some Basic Considerations on Action Plan Development and Integrated Approach”. 

This presentation outlined strategic considerations for developing National Implementation Plan (NIP) action plans addressing newly listed persistent organic pollutants (POPs), particularly plastic additives, through sectoral approaches in electronics, transport, and construction.
