The three Water and Sanitation Assessment Reports, for Entebbe Free Zone, Pakwach Industrial and Business Zone, and Soroti Industrial Park, were developed under the Greening Uganda’s Urbanization and Industrialization project, implemented by GGGI with support from the European Union’s GreenUP program.
Each report assesses site-specific infrastructure needs in water supply, wastewater, solid waste, and stormwater management, and provides sustainable design options to guide green industrial development. The studies identify potential industrial sectors, estimate water and sanitation demands, and propose integrated, resource-efficient systems to minimize environmental impacts. Collectively, they offer a foundation for green masterplans and investment concepts that promote environmentally sound, inclusive, and resilient industrial growth across Uganda.
