Key features of the Green Forum are the Discussions and Groups, dedicated spaces that host focused interactions and content sharing. The flexibility of the groups allows the space to assume multiple roles, from a first online presence for smaller green growth initiatives, to a public discussion on green growth challenges and research. Community discussions and groups can be created based on community demand.
Discussions
Discussion spaces are open to the public and focus on relevant and timely green growth topics and themes managed directly by the Green Forum team. The public will be able to view Discussions without having to register and users will be able to participate in the conversations and activities once they have registered with the Green Forum.
Groups
Groups support members of existing networks or initiatives interested in a private online discussion space to collaborate on specific projects and initiatives; they are not open to the general public. Each Group will be independently managed and run by a respective Group Manager / Administrator, who will moderate conversations and activities. Group members can upload relevant knowledge, events, and opportunities to share with other members. Group Managers and Admins will have the discretion to decide on Group membership, either by invitation or through the approval of membership request. Some Groups are ‘hidden’ and you can only see them if you are invited to join.
You can contact the Green Forum team by email at info(at)thegreenforum.org to create a Group on your proposed topic, theme, initiative or project subject to approval.
