To commemorate Stockholm 1972 and chart a path forward for the next 50 years, Sweden and Kenya, with support from UNEP and partners, are planning an international meeting in 2022: "Stockholm+50: a healthy planet for the prosperity of all – our responsibility, our opportunity” which will take place on the 2nd and the 3rd of June 2022. 

Environmental and sustainability experts, practitioners and enthusiasts are invited to submit short contributions in the form of articles, opinions, editorials, blogs, etc., that can inform the discussion and build the momentum around the meeting. The blogs will be published on the Stockholm+50 Community Group on the Green Forum.  

Submissions should offer thought pieces, analysis as well as personal takes on the proposed messages below:  

• Which systemic actions are required to achieve a healthy planet?   

• How to ensure a green and inclusive recovery from Covid-19?   

• How to accelerate the implementation of the environmental dimension of the SDGs?   

• Beyond Stockholm: what do you hope this conference will achieve?    

Please note that the above focus areas are not exhaustive and that it is possible to make more than one submission per person.
