About PAGE

The Partnership for Action on Green Economy (PAGE) brings together expertise and guidance of five UN agencies and eight funding partner countries to assist twenty two countries in their sustainable development. PAGE’s assistance spans the three economic, environmental and social pillars of sustainability to support the countries’ achievement of Sustainable Development Goals and the climate agenda. Communication & Environment Affairs

PAGE offers an internship opportunity for three to six (3-6) months in the field of communication and environment Affairs. The Internship is unpaid and full-time. Interns work five days per week (40 hours) under the supervision of a staff member in the department or office to which they are assigned. 

Responsibilities

  • Support development and maintenance of the PAGE website. Knowledge of Drupal and WordPress is a plus.
  • Support production of print, web and/or multimedia communication materials, including infographics, videos flyers, publications, newsletters. Knowledge of Canva, InDesign and/or other Adobe Creative Suite and video editing software is a plus.
  • Support PAGE social media presence, including development and scheduling of regular posts. Knowledge of all relevant social media platforms, including Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, etc is a plus.
  • Support drafting and editing of PAGE documents, publications, reports, newsletters, regular updates, and other communication materials.
  • Support preparation and implementation of PAGE global and regional events
  • Support organization of meetings, webinars and workshops, including by developing and coordinating meeting documents, logistics and/or other resources
  • Support other activities as requested.

Education

Applicants must at the time of application meet one of the following requirements:
a. Be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher) in Journalism, Communication, Economics, Finance, Public Policy, Public Administration, Sustainable Development, Environmental Science or a related area:
b. Be enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum Bachelor's level or equivalent);
c. Have graduated with a university degree and, if selected, must commence the internship within a one-year period of graduation.

Be computer literate in standard software applications.
