This event aims to propose strategies to scale up practices and policies to end plastic pollution in Southeast Asia and discuss how their implementation could be accelerated. It will contribute to a better understanding of the challenge of plastic pollution in the region; interventions required to end plastic pollution; successful domestic initiatives that can be replicated across borders; key opportunities to enhance ASEAN co-operation; and strategies for scaling up public and private finance.
