The 2023 Global Green Growth Week (GGGW) will be hosting the session Gender Equality and Social Inclusion Investments for Just Transitions Processes on 23 October 2023. 

This event will announce official commencement of strategic partnerships between the GGGI-UN Women through formalization of an MOU. This session will also launch the GGGI-UN Women Guidance Note on Gender Integration in Long-Term Low Emissions Development Strategies (LT-LEDS), based on experiences from Burkina Faso. Building on these best practice examples of green partnerships, the subsequent part of this session will provide perspectives from various stakeholders implementing interventions addressing the three forms of capital – economic, social, and environment.
