The Global Clean Hydrogen Forum: Driving Innovation for Future
The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) is well positioned to support the global transition to a clean energy future through the development and deployment of clean hydrogen solutions. Since 2012, GGGI has been assisting its Members in achieving their climate goals while promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth across various sectors.
By working closely with governments and maintaining an in-country presence, GGGI supports the development of policy and regulatory frameworks that facilitate access to finance for climate action and green infrastructure. This unique approach enables GGGI to effectively convene diverse stakeholders and ensure that clean energy initiatives align with broader sustainable and inclusive development objectives.
With a strong track record in advancing green growth, GGGI seeks to play a catalytic role in accelerating clean hydrogen as a strategic solution for both climate mitigation and economic transformation. To this end, GGGI is launching a new initiative—Hydrogen to Green Growth (H2G)—to foster international cooperation, mobilize partnerships, and enhance knowledge sharing among countries committed to a clean hydrogen future.
This event aims to bring together a diverse group of stakeholders to share experiences, insights, and innovative approaches for advancing the global hydrogen economy through strategic cooperation among GGGI Member countries. Through open dialogue and exchange, participants will explore the potential for implementing hydrogen-based solutions that drive energy transition and promote green growth across GGGI Members.
Government officials, industry leaders, technical experts, and investors will convene to reflect on progress to date, identify key challenges, and discuss collaborative strategies to accelerate innovation. Discussions will focus on observed impacts, critical policy frameworks, and investment priorities necessary to scale clean hydrogen deployment.
Participants will have the opportunity to share perspectives on cutting-edge technologies and initiatives, fostering meaningful networking and collaboration throughout the event.
As a key highlight, GGGI will announce a joint declaration of support for the H2G Initiative in partnership with its Member states, alongside the formal handover of GGGI’s Hydrogen Strategic Report to its Council—marking a significant milestone in its efforts to catalyze global action on clean hydrogen.
The session will feature participation from esteemed representatives of the following key Members:
