Inside the POPs Inventory: Lessons, Challenges and Successes from the Global NIP Update

On 14  April 2025 (14:00-15:30 CEST), the Green Growth Knowledge Partnership (GGKP) will host a roundtable on "Inside the POPs Inventory: Lessons, Challenges and Successes from the Global NIP Update."

Bringing together project countries, Parties to the Stockholm Convention and regional centres, this session will facilitate peer-to-peer learning by sharing experiences, challenges and practical insights on POPs inventory development and updates.

With input from international experts, discussions will highlight key technical aspects, common obstacles and best practices that have emerged across regions. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, seek expert advice, and explore solutions for improving data collection, analysis and overall inventory processes.

  • National officials and experts involved in the process of reviewing and updating the NIPs
  • Members of the National Statistical Office and similar institutions
