On 27 February 2024 (09:00 CET and 15:00 CET), the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) will host the webinar Unlock the Potential of Article 6: Develop your Host Party Strategy.

Launched in June 2022 and continuing into 2027, Supporting Preparedness for Article 6 Cooperation (SPAR6C) is currently the largest and most comprehensive program focused solely on enhancing Article 6 of the Paris climate agreement.

The aim of the webinar is to share the knowledge and experience of SPAR6C experts and to develop strategies and implementation plans tailored to local needs. This includes raising awareness about the SPAR6C programme and the A6 Implementation Toolbox, presenting key elements of the guide on developing a host party strategy for Article 6, and doing a deep dive into the topic of authorization criteria, including sharing country experiences from Colombia and Zambia.
