Water and Renewable Energy for Climate Resilience
The accelerating impacts of climate change are intensifying water insecurity and energy vulnerabilities worldwide. As countries seek pathways toward sustainable development, the integration of water management and renewable energy solutions has emerged as a vital catalyst for building climate resilience. This session will highlight how innovative approaches at the water–energy nexus can strengthen adaptive capacities, reduce carbon footprints, and foster sustainable livelihoods.
A moderated panel will then explore practical strategies, best practices, and collaborative opportunities, drawing on the experiences of GGGI Member Countries and partners.
By showcasing forward-looking policies, innovative financing, and integrated approaches, the session aims to chart a course for transforming water and renewable energy systems into engines of climate resilience.
