My name is Bum Cheul (BC) Park and I am currently working in the Environment Directorate of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) as a Junior Policy Analyst, based in Paris, France. My special area of focus at the moment is on ocean governance, sustainable ocean economy, and ocean pollution, and specifically marine plastic pollution. I have supported the OECD in putting together the recently-published marine plastic pollution Country Fact Sheets for 10 countries in the Southeast Asia region, as well as contributed a blog piece for the OECD Environment Focus Blog. I am currently working on a project in the Southeast Asia region on enabling solutions to address the problem of marine plastic pollution. I am eager to join the discussions and groups leading up to & after the Stockholm +50 as well as other major initiatives. I am a South Korean national.
