Information
I’ve worn many hats, and they’ve all been green. 🌿
Over the past decade, I’ve either been employed in a green job or worked to turn my roles green across education, government, and international development. My mission is to help others do the same by pioneering climate-aware career guidance.
While working with youth on climate action, I realized something critical: awareness alone isn’t enough. We need to support people, especially the next generation, into decent, meaningful green jobs that build thriving communities and a livable planet.
That realization sparked my commitment to greening human capital development, empowering educators, students, and jobseekers to access climate-aligned careers.
Here are some of my favourite green jobs:
🌱 Led the Philippine Department of Education’s climate change program reaching 1M+ learners
✍ Created and managed Climate Changemakers, training 430+ Filipino teachers on teaching climate change
🌀 Supported the design and implementation of ADB’s youth climate projects in the Pacific and Southeast Asia
🧭 Co-created climate resilience program for international students in Melbourne, Australia
⚡ Mapped career guidance for energy sector jobs as intern for Department of Energy, Environment, and Climate Action, Victoria, Australia
🎓 I hold a Master’s in Environment and Sustainability (Distinction) from Monash University as an Australia Awards Scholar and a Bachelor in Secondary Education major in Social Sciences (cum laude) at the Philippine Normal University. In 2024, I received Victoria’s Premier’s Award for International Student of the Year for advancing climate action and youth engagement.
As Co-Founder of Green Economy Ready, I help educators and jobseekers unlock green job pathways. Our team develops toolkits, runs workshops, and builds partnerships to integrate climate-aware career guidance into school and community program, starting in the Philippines.
I now focus on:
✅ Workforce development for the green transition
✅ Equipping educators and youth for climate-responsive careers
✅ Contributing to systems that align economic resilience with environmental justice
Let’s connect if you're working on green jobs, climate education, or youth empowerment. Always up for co-creating a more sustainable (and joyful) future.
